OUR STORY

From a Small Group of Cat Lovers to Flagler County's Largest Rescue

Community Cats of Palm Coast was founded as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2013 with a single goal: reduce the homeless cat population in Flagler County through compassionate, effective care.

Over the years, we've grown to become the largest foster-based cat rescue serving our county. With a dedicated network of foster families, volunteers, and supporters, we've found loving homes for nearly 4,000 cats and kittens — and we're just getting started.

Unlike shelter-based rescues, every cat in our care lives in a real home with a loving foster family. This means better socialization, better health outcomes, and better matches when the time comes to find their forever family.

Most of the cats we help are found in Flagler County neighborhoods and commercial areas. We give these animals a real chance at life as beloved pets, rather than leaving them to survive as strays in our community.

OUR MISSION

What We Stand For

Community Cats of Palm Coast practices and promotes the use of Trap, Neuter and Return to reduce the number of feral and stray cats in Flagler County.

We rescue kittens and cats using a network of foster homes and find them forever homes in the community through our website, social media, and adoption events. We also assist in rescuing and rehoming adult cats as a courtesy to area residents.

We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization dedicated to providing every cat a chance to live their life as a beloved pet.

Foster-Based Care

Every cat lives in a real home — never a cage. Our foster network is the heart of everything we do.

TNR Programs

We humanely manage feral and stray cat populations through Trap, Neuter, and Return efforts across the county.

Complete Veterinary Care

All cats receive spay/neuter, vaccinations, and any needed medical treatment before being placed for adoption.

Community Partnership

We work alongside Flagler County residents, providing education, resources, and hands-on support.
