Community Cats of Palm Coast (CCOPC) relies heavily on its network of volunteers to keep their operations running. Whether you're looking to work directly with animals or help behind the scenes, there are several ways to get involved.
Let’s explore the different volunteer roles and the process for joining their team. I'll ask guiding questions along the way to help you find the best fit.
Volunteer Roles
The organization generally divides volunteer needs into a few key areas:

Direct Animal Care: This includes socializing cats at their adoption center, fostering kittens or cats in your home, and assisting with trapping (TNR) for feral colonies.

Operations & Support: They often need help with housekeeping at the center, administrative tasks, and assisting at their thrift store (located at City Marketplace).

Events & Outreach: Helping with fundraising events, adoption days, and managing social media to help cats get noticed by potential adopters.
