Kitten Health Care 

​

Kittens come into our Foster Network through either our TNR efforts or as community strays. Their ages can range from newborn to over 12 weeks. Because of this there is no definitive standard for the care they may receive, however, below is the minimum you can expect your kitten(s) have received when you adopt from us. The donation required to adopt from us is $75.00. This donation is non-refundable.
 

Panacur (wormer) A fecal will be performed to confirm the absence of parasites prior to adoption.
 

Flea treatment (Revolution, Advantage II, Frontline)  

 

At least 2 (Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia ) vaccinations. The 3rd and final dose required will be given if still in our care.  
 

Vet exam
 

FIV/FELV/Heartworm test
 

Spay/Neuter Surgery
 

Microchip (Will be transferred to you upon completion of adoption and can be updated for free anytime at Michelson Found Animals (foundanimals.org) 
 

IF age/weight is determined appropriate by the veterinarian, at the time of their scheduled surgery they will also receive a rabies vaccination.
