Kitten Health Care

Kittens come into our Foster Network through either our TNR efforts or as community strays. Their ages can range from newborn to over 12 weeks. Because of this there is no definitive standard for the care they may receive, however, below is the minimum you can expect your kitten(s) have received when you adopt from us. The donation required to adopt from us is $75.00. This donation is non-refundable.

  • Panacur (wormer)

  • Flea treatment (Revolution, Advantage II, Frontline)

  • At least 2 (Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia ) vaccinations at both 8 weeks and 12 weeks of age. The 3rd and final dose required will be given if still in our care at the age of 16 weeks.

  • Vet exam

  • FIV/FELV/Heartworm test

  • Spay/Neuter Surgery

  • Microchip (Can be updated for free at Michelson Found Animals (foundanimals.org) upon adoption.

  • IF age/weight is determined appropriate by the veterinarian, at the time of their scheduled surgery they will also receive a rabies vaccination.
